Microlock / Sisterlock Maintenance & Retightening
Keep your locks healthy, neat, and thriving with our professional maintenance service. This service is designed to refresh your look while prioritizing the long-term integrity of your hair.
Service Highlights:
- Deep Cleansing Wash: Every maintenance session includes a professional wash to ensure a clean scalp and refreshed locks.
- Expert Retightening: Precise interlocking to manage new growth and maintain the "mini" lock aesthetic.
- Minor Repairs: Includes basic maintenance and "reconstruction" of individual locks if needed.
Note: While we provide minor repairs, clients are responsible for following aftercare steps between appointments to prevent major slippage or thinning.
Pricing Structure
Regular Clients
Our tiered pricing is based on the time elapsed since your last maintenance session with us:

- 4-Week Maintenance $180 Includes wash and up to 4 hours of labor.
- 6 to 8-Week Maintenance $250 Includes wash and extended retightening time.
Overtime & Major Repairs: If your retightening or repairs exceed the allotted 4-hour window, additional fees may apply.
New Clients: Consultation Required
If this is your first time visiting us for maintenance, a mandatory consultation is required before booking. Since every lock journey is unique, we must assess your current lock grid, hair health, and the time required for your initial retightening. A final price quote will be provided during your consultation.

📍 Arrival & Timing
- Please arrive on time to ensure your service can begin promptly and run smoothly.
- Your stylist is committed to giving you their best work — arriving on time helps maintain that quality.
💇🏾♀️ Hair Preparation
- Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, and fully detangled, unless you add a wash or detangling service during booking.
- Do not apply heavy oils, conditioners, or styling products before your appointment.
- If extra detangling or blow-drying is required, an additional fee may apply.
- You can easily add a hair wash, detangling, or other prep services during the booking process — just select them as add-ons before checkout.
🪙 Deposits & Payments
- A $40.0 booking payment is required to reserve your appointment.
- This $40.0 payment is a nonrefundable deposit and will be applied toward your final service total.
- The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment, payable by card, cash, or mobile app (if available).
- Deposits help us reduce no-shows and prepare for your service in advance — thank you for understanding!
Rescheduling Policy
- You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before your scheduled time without penalty.
- To reschedule, simply use the link in your confirmation email or contact us directly through the website or booking platform.
- Rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment may result in your deposit being forfeited, depending on availability and stylist schedule.
- If you are running late and need to push your time, we will do our best to accommodate — but rescheduling on the same day is not guaranteed.
- Missed or repeated short-notice rescheduling may limit your ability to book future appointments.
